Qualifications

* Experience with filing and handling of workers' compensation, liability and property insurance claims

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Ability to problem solve and multitask

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint

* Strong self-motivation and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and under deadlines



Responsibilities

* Maintain claims and safety databases, compile data and create weekly and monthly reports

* Review, code and process all insurance claims submitted to the Safety Department

* Monitor, coordinate and track workers' compensation, automobile, general liability, property and contractor's equipment claims

* Review, code and process all insurance claims submitted to the Safety Department

* Work order entry and distribution

* Periodically updating company policy information, including distribution of OSHA and workers' compensation posting notices and automobile insurance ID cards

* Work with the marketing department to provide data and complete bid documents

* Provide general administrative support to the Safety Department

* Additional assignments as required
