Sr. Lab Technician

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Lab Technician who will be responsible for analytical testing on products in a chemical manufacturing setting. In this position you will perform quality testing, maintenance, and calibrations of the instruments in addition to assisting in the adjustment of products as needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform a variety of laboratory operations in a manufacturing plant laboratory. Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing quantitative and qualitative tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating experimental results. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
  • Assist in writing experimental results and appropriate documentation in lab notebook(s) and SAP
  • Use standard laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Calculate product adjustments when results are outside of accepted range
  • Perform routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments
  • Assume responsibility for minor projects
  • Work alongside teammates to maintain a clean, safe, efficient, and well-stocked laboratory

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in science related field
  • 2 years of laboratory technician or closely related experience
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A degree in a science related field
  • Adaptability with a fluctuating workload/schedule
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with TPM Methodologies
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Practical understanding of chemistry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $49,000.00 - $73,600.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
