Located on-site in Port Hueneme, CA. Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Experience in budget forecasting and use of Earned Value Management or similar processes.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
- Experience developing program plans and schedules from master development schedules.
- Demonstrated experience identifying technical and programmatic risk areas and in development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
- Direct experience with and understanding of Navy policies and procedures through personal participation in planning meetings, program reviews, and technical working groups.
- Experience controlling expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
- Must have demonstrated the ability to provide technical and budgetary briefings to Navy management
- Execute requirements in accordance with the contract and specified objectives and ensure adherence to all required regulations/processes.
- Experience managing complex contract with multiple subcontractors, geographically dispersed staff.
- Manage and coordinate personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of the contract and programs.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited college in an applicable Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Mathematics or Business discipline.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of program management experience with Navy Weapon/ Combat Systems, experience must include support of NSWC PHD.
Skills and Abilities:
- One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
Security Clearance:
- Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
