Enterprise Sales Executive - Government

What you will do

We are looking for a Government Sales Executive to manage a territory and new business development for government clients to drive sales and revenue.

How you will do it

  • Demonstrate ability to prospecting: Find new business prospects with government territory
  • Lead generation: Generate and qualify leads through calls, visits and collaboration with marketing team.
  • Represent and promote the company's products and services at targeted events
  • Identifying sales opportunities: Identify sales opportunities and new revenue streams
  • Build and maintain relationships with leads, prospects and customers
  • Overcoming objections: Apply good listening and analytical skills to overcome initial resistance from prospects
  • Negotiate with prospects, align with internal resources to support sales process.
  • Operate cross functionally - Establish credibility and positive working relationships internal to company
  • Experience in managing government contracts and working with government procurement processes.

What we look for

  • 5-10 years sales experience selling SaaS/HaaS based products and solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Government sales experience, both demand gen and account management experience working with prospects and clients
  • Technical aptitude working with software solutions
  • Relationship management and cross functional communications
  • Industries, Federal, State and local government experience
  • Federal contracting knowledge and procurement vehicles, (GSA, Sole Source, SEWP, IDIQ, CPO's)
