Position Summary

Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Execution Systems Team in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of your academic studies and interests. Learning Objectives

  • Gain experience interfacing with the business to understand their processes and document their requirements for new development
  • Practice developing custom applications to meet your customers' needs
  • Develop an understanding of the iterative software development process

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements from stakeholders
  • Generate requirement documentation
  • Build applications within our Manufacturing Execution System
  • Test the application
  • Validate applications built by your peers
  • Coordinate the deployment of applications in production

Education and Qualification

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Software Engineering or a related program
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent follow-through
  • Must be driven and self-motivated

Estimated Base Salary Range:

$21.00 - $25.00
