Senior Engineering Technician

Location: Lenexa, KS (100% ONSITE)

Pay Range: $40-49 (HOURLY)

Primary Responsibilities:

* Supports and works with the Configuration Management team focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity in several aspects of engineering documentation duties to include drawing release, data entry, & change management.

* Assisting with compliance and maintenance of configuration management company standards. and processes. Creating updates where necessary to improve effectiveness for the organization.

* Maintain of data items within a Product Life Management (PLM) system.

* Review of configuration management documentation standards.

* Follows and understands company policies, procedures and processes.

* Participate in Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.

* Collaboration with Engineering staff and internal department associates.

* Support internal audits regarding Configuration Management processes.

* Review of documentation for data accuracy within a process workflow.

* Ensures department practices and procedures are followed by Engineering staff.

Knowledge, Experience & Education:

* Understands basic management approaches such as prioritizing work and process execution.

* Associate degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical documentation experience.

* Knowledge of Team Center is a plus.

* Knowledge of working with a Product Life Management (PLM) and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) data base management system.

* Knowledge of Microsoft tools; word, excel, outlook E-mail.

* Adobe Acrobat knowledge
