Summary:
The HR Associate provides ongoing support across various Human Resources activities. As a member of the Human Resources team, the HR Associate is regarded as the skilled and knowledgeable expert for all aspects of employee-related matters and as the first point to our cross-functional leaders within the HR team and across our employee and leadership base.

Responsibilities:
1. Serves as Front Desk attendant to the Human Resources Department. Answers telephone calls and assists caller with their questions, concerns, or information requested. Directs calls to the appropriate HR team member. Greets visitors/employees or leaders to the department and addresses their needs. Accurately and promptly relays verbal messages to appropriate team members. Competently manages routine requests without assistance. Coordinates all incoming correspondence of all types, date stamping the information and processing according to established procedures. Retrieves, sorts, and adequately distributes incoming mail and gathers and prepares outgoing mail daily. Communicates appropriate, accurate information to others regarding employment practices, policies, and procedures, researching as necessary to ensure the accuracy of information exchanged.
2. Performs Human Resources Department Purchasing/Requisition and Invoicing. Provides Purchase orders when requested by HR Leadership or other HR team members. Participates in routinely acquiring sufficient and necessary supplies to do the job. Processes payment of invoices in a timely manner.
3. Processes the Short-Term Staffing Agreement Contracts provided by leaders. Enters the appropriate information on Excel documents and obtains the signature of the HR Director. Collaborates with the Payroll department to process employee short-term staffing agreements. Process disbursements, sign-on bonuses, and bonus payout spreadsheets.
4. Licenses, Scholarships, and Educational Assistance Program Processing. Receives the licenses provided to HR by employees and distributes to the appropriate HR team member. Receives the scholarship applications and distributes them to the delegated HR team member. The HR Associate provides the necessary support documents to the scholarship recipient. Submits the scholarship recipient's specific documents obtained to the accounting department. Processes the check request for the distribution of payment to the scholarship recipient. Manages and processes the educational reimbursement program by processing the check request to the recipient.
5. Bereavement floral arrangements. Orders floral arrangements for employees who have immediate family members who have passed.
6. Ensures confidentiality of all information presented or provided to HR. Does not discuss or provide confidential information to inappropriate personnel. Communicates positively, directly, clearly, accurately, and timely in all interactions and conveys confidential information to others only as authorized.

8. Assist HRIS Analyst, as necessary.

Education Requirements:
* Associate Degree in Human Resources or other related field.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
*No license or Certification required.

Professional Experience Requirements:
* 2 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
*Proficient in use of keyboard, basic computer operations, such as Word and Excel.
