Average Acadian employee tenure: 18 years Responsibilities What you'll do Able to identify emergency equipment and posted signs. Able to read a tape and work with hand tools. Conduct/Attend daily safety meeting. Take part/Attend JSEA for each specific job and when the job scope changes. Work and interact with other crew members in a professional humane manner. Interact with customer in a manner that insures good customer relations and effective/efficient job completion. Follow all safety rules, safety guidelines and safe work practices. Identify any unsafe condition (Hazards), immediately correct those that can be corrected, and alert all crew members of those hazards that have been not corrected or eliminated. Assist in the inventory count, properly racking, stacking and banding of all material. Not fearful of water and can swim, swing from boat at the plus 10 level. Living and sharing quarters with other for 14 to 21 days at a time. Work in adverse weather conditions such as high heat, high humidity and cold. Able to walk a 200ft flair boom. Work in tight quarters and cramped areas. Practice good house keeping that is environmentally friendly and a zero tolerance Practice/Perform Safe rigging duties and inspecting equipment. Assist in the construction, revision, modification and dismantling of all types of scaffolds according to OSHA standard 1946.451. Assist production and construction in rigging, fire watch, back loading boat etc. Walk up and down numerous flights of stairs with materials. Climb up and down ladders and work at various heights. Qualifications What you need to know Preferably 1-2 year Minimum Experience as a Scaffold Helper.
