About the Opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems, experience with precision measuring instruments, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams to uphold quality standards. Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, physical layouts and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures. Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Assist in the development and improvement of quality systems to enhance overall product quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).2-5 years relevant experience in quality assurance automotive or aerospace manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies.Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure end products comply with customer requirements.Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, physical layouts and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).Experience with analysis software such as Calypso for data evaluation (can be learned over time).Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments. Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 - $28. based on experience. Expected weekly hours: 40-50. We offer a competitive benefit package, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements, among other factors.
