We have an opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our Water Supply/Water Disposal team in Golden Valley, MN. You will support development and acceleration of our strategic growth initiatives within the Water Supply/Water Disposal category under the Residential & Irrigation Flow business unit. In this role, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering a marketing playbook that allows our business to gain a greater share of wallet. This position will report to the General Manager, Water Supply/Water Disposal, and this role will be based at Pentair US Headquarters in Golden Valley, MN or our Manufacturing site in Delavan, WI.

You will:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of the marketing strategy for the Water Supply/Water Disposal business
  • Create and implement annual marketing plans integrating Voice of Customer into the plans and manager associated budgets, identify barriers to success and develop solutions for smooth execution
  • Collaborate with business leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that cover multiple channels/mediums (e.g. OEM, Distribution) to increase market penetration and coverage
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate the execution of product launches (in partnership with Product Management) and support of existing products to drive revenue growth
  • Compile multiple data sources into insightful and clear presentations for sales, marketing and senior leadership
  • Manage ongoing market research to understand market trends and potential in identified markets, and use market research to inform business decisions and priorities
  • Lead marketing efforts to clearly identify and define value propositions and highlight competitive advantages
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Operations team to help identify the best opportunities to win and identify the strategies to execute in specific regions and with specific customers
  • Lead the Marketing team that supports the Water Supply/Water Disposal category
  • Ability to travel 25%

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • Have leadership experience in marketing management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Have 3+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing management, with proven success in driving channel equity and penetration through customer and sales team partnership marketing
  • Have experience within a manufacturing organization, including strong track record of cross-functional partnership (Product Management, R&D/Engineering, Sales, Operations/Manufacturing)
  • Have experience with two-step channel distribution
  • Have experience with development and execution of customer experience initiatives
  • Be knowledgeable in web/digital marketing best practices
  • Be knowledgeable of market research, strategic marketing, and brand communications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with trade shows, advertising media (print and online), PR, web content, social media, collateral materials

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $82300 - $152800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
