Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review construction contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives and company policies
  • Draft and modify subcontractor agreements, change orders, and other necessary contract documentation
  • Ensure that all contracts comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company guidelines
  • Maintain and organize all contract files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accessible and up to date
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and subcontractors to ensure contract terms are being followed, including scope of work, quality of work, timelines, and safety standards
  • Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements
  • Assist in contract disputes, address claims, and assist in negotiating settlements when necessary
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding contract related issues
  • Work closely with project managers and legal teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any contractual issues that may arise
  • Prepare and maintain reports on contract status, compliance, and performance for internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform any prequalification requirements that clients, contractors or subcontractors may require



Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor



Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction contract administration or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, construction law, and project management principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizations skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment



Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field



Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit up to eight (8) hours per working day
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers to grasp and handle objects
