Ameresco is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to support large scale construction projects and warehouse operations in its Anchorage, Alaska office. Responsibilities:
Facilitate package loading, shipping, and delivery. Extensive knowledge of locating numerous materials throughout the country in medium to heavy commercial mechanical industry. Receive and perform quality check inspection of incoming materials. Materials receiving, supply, and movement: including loading, and unloading, storage, and transfer. Label all Ameresco Equipment and materials for shipping. Perform and assist in inventory control activities. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes. Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse and storage operations. Prepare, submit, and track Request for Information documents. Expedite, review, submit and track shop drawings and submittals. Review specifications and assist with producing job closeout checklist. Along with the Project Manager, attend project meetings when needed. Assist with as needed Tracking and expediting of the submission of all closeout documents. Provide as-built drawings, brochures, maintenance manuals, parts lists, etc. as per contract requirements when directed to. Manage Alaska office Wheels program/ vehicles. Assist Operations Manager with administrative duties as needed. Travel to various project sites to deliver equipment and material. Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Minimum of seven (7) years' experience supporting large-scale construction projects, including upgrades, renovations, and retrofits for institutional, government, commercial, and industrial sites. Must be proficient with materials handling, inventory management, operation of forklifts and other power equipment, as well as shipping and receiving duties.
Additional Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of the processing of specifications, RFI's, transmitters, and maintaining a submittal register. Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project. Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships Valid Drivers' License issued by the state of residence and in good standing Ability to travel when needed.
