This job supervises, hires, disciplines, terminates and institutes managerial decisions over hospital Facilities Management staff and mobile clinic maintenance repair staff. This job is responsible for overall maintenance and repair of building systems, central plant and fixed equipment within the utilities management program and for the preventive and corrective maintenance program. This job develops and maintains annual operations and capital budgets and manages minor construction and renovation projects.Education Required -High School diploma or equivalent Preferred -Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Business, Construction Management or related field Preferred -Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications. Work Experience Required -5 maintenance experience, 2 years supervisory experience in a building construction, maintenance or repair work. Mechanically inclined with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration (HVAC-R) Preferred- Healthcare experience Certifications Required-License or certification as required by scope of responsibility and/or government ordinance Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
