Department Summary The Summer @ Roche Intern Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience and numerous opportunities to network with other interns as well as employees in the organization. Additionally, we help our students meet their career development and educational goals while potentially building a future with the Roche organization. Leveraging the education you received already, we hope to give you an opportunity to grow and develop with us! The Pathology Work Area Instrument Development team employs diversified knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineering principles to design and develop complex medical device systems involving hardware, chemicals and reagents. After understanding user needs, use cases & requirements, the engineering teams develop complex plastics and software controlled electromechanical prototypes using analytical and simulation tools. The prototypes are taken through various stages of the phased-gate product development process before the engineering and scientific solutions get deployed. This internship position is located in Tucson, AZ, on-site. The Opportunity

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location ofArizona is $22.00-$35.00 per hour.Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
