Description MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Nephrology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our established team of Advanced Practice Professionals. The primary responsibilities will be caring for chronic kidney disease patients in an office setting and rounding on patients in the dialysis units. There may also be an opportunity for picking up extra shifts and or hospital coverage if the candidates desires. This position is part time (20 hrs per week) with the expectation to work 2, 10hr shifts weekly, days of which can be discussed upon hiring. The candidate we seek is a motivated individual with excellent communication and problem solving skills, who also has the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience providing healthcare education to patients and families. We are looking for a professional who has worked in a clinical office and/or hospital setting, preferably caring for patients with chronic disease. This position offers:
