Best Value Technology, Inc. (BVTI) is seeking to identify a highly organized, accomplished, goal-oriented Program Manager to join our team on an established long-term, high-profile contract supporting the acquisition lifecycle to a federal customer in the Intelligence Community. The onsite Program Manager be responsible for leading and supervising the day-to-day operations of the program while ensuring successful execution across a portfolio of activities and services. As an integral part of BVTI's IC Division, the Program Manager will interface directly with BVTI leadership and the onsite client Director and COTR to ensure effective contract management and overall mission performance.

The successful candidate will have broad experience supporting information technology related programs and operations to include information security, network/communication management, complex IT management and cloud migration services.

The ideal Program Manager will possess exceptional leadership, communication and management skills with a proven ability to inspire trust and confidence with internal and external IC stakeholders, BVTI leadership, employees, subcontractors and vendors, as well as customers, guests and partners. The ability to present clear and concise written and verbal information and program status to stakeholders is imperative.



Position Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage and ensure successful completion of requirements performed including those completed by subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ability to regularly communicate with the customer to ascertain program needs, including technical, cost and schedule performance.
  • Ability to communicate with the customer COTR as it may relate to circumstances that could have a material effect on the contract or client.
  • Ability to analyze program effectiveness and recommend/implement process improvements across multiple system environments in a cost effective and prudent manner.
  • Conduct business data analysis of program information to ensure compliance with regulations, gather data to identify and track trends, provide information to other team members and assist in responding to the results of audits and quality checks to stakeholder reviews and other evaluations.
  • Provide feedback to leadership by creating, updating and/or enhancing internal documents and processes as required.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS



  • Experience supporting customers in dynamic Information Technology Environments.
  • Ability to assist with strategic-level issues, policies and procedures, analyzing cost and price data and developing objectives.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills associated with evaluating and determining standards.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills including preparing and presenting oral and written presentations.
  • Proven leadership ability and track record.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS



  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience associated with managing and administering IT systems, software development, IT engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading a similar project within the Intelligence Community.
  • An active technical certification compliant with DoD 8140.

    • CompTIA Security + Certification




DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



  • Program Management Professional (PMP), or similar certification.
