Apply now Date: Jan 6, 2025 Location: Company: Group 33 is seeking a Senior Technician to support our RF/Microwave prototype integration and testing. The candidate will work in an RF/Microwave laboratory supporting multiple programs to assist the group in fabrication needs. Duties include, but are not limited to, assembly of antennas and microwave components for RF frequencies; electronic assembly and wiring from schematics; assembly, test and troubleshooting microwave circuits utilizing the use of electronic test equipment, antenna components, and RF coaxial components; mechanical assembly from drawings and interfacing with machinist and fabrication personnel; occasional antenna tower climbing; some light to moderate lifting of chassis and equipment with a maximum of 50 pounds; and work under non-laboratory conditions both locally and a field sites (i.e. outdoor work). The position will require some travel for testing activities, typically but not limited to the continental US. Will assist in laboratory, research, or analytical work under direction or supervision of scientific personnel. Operates highly technical experimental apparatus. May direct and train technicians of lower grade. Understands the theoretical aspects of the experiments. Has demonstrated outstanding skill and performance in the field of activity.
