We are currently seeking a Senior Field Technician - Construction Inspection to join our growing Construction group in our Minneapolis, MN or St. Paul, MN office. This role is responsible for performing quality assurance inspections and ensuring contract compliance for various public infrastructure projects. SRF has a long tradition of partnering and contributing to construction projects of significance across the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities:

• Perform construction inspection for highway/municipal projects.
• Complete Daily Diaries and other project documentation, both on paper and electronic.
• Ensure compliance of Contractors' work with plans, specifications, and policies of the owner.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates have four or more years of roadway, municipal utilities, and/or bridge inspection experience, excellent communication, and record keeping skills, and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Level 2 MnDOT Technical Certifications in grading and base, bituminous street and concrete field.
• Valid Driver's License, with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand / walk for long periods of time, and to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MnDOT Technical Certification in bridge construction.
• Minimum 15 years of experience

Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000*

* Individuals meeting the preferred qualifications will be considered for a salary above the advertised range.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
