Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Project Manager (Contracts Administrator) to join our talented team located in Cary, NC!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for, reviewing IPS construction contracts, providing notices as required by contract to owners, third parties, and internally as required to ensure compliance with all required contractual obligations, helping to protect the company's interests throughout the duration of the projects by ensuring compliance. The role demands a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with project managers, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. To excel in this role, you will need a strong contracts administration background.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Review with schedulers, project managers and directors changes in scope of work that require notification.
  • Develop supporting information post initial notification with the support of the project team.
  • Monitor project costs and field conditions, and ensure changes are fully reflected in notifications to required party.
  • Monitor design content and provide notifications required for contract compliance.
  • Interact regularly with the client, listening and ensuring that their contractual needs are met with a focus on the IPSclient experience.
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, as you develop solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project delivery or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing construction for multi-million-dollar projects.
  • OSHA 30 or ability to obtain and maintain.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, legal or a related discipline.
  • Construction contract management experience
  • Manufacturing / Industrial experience.
  • Experience in the construction of pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or life science facilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients, team building, and strong work ethic.

Safety:

  • This position will be assigned to projects in the Southeast region whereby travel will be required.
  • You may be assigned to a client project site for an extended period of time to work with the Construction Management team.
  • Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client's location is possible depending on the assignment.
  • You will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules, be subject to all additional screening required based on site specific safety plan.
  • This position is an information sensitive position.
  • The employee is considered a project support position role for work IPS is completing as part of its scope of work.
