Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
- Develops and recommends client-centric investment portfolios using all of CBIZ's proprietary investment solutions as well as third party products as permitted on our approved platforms
- Conducts in-depth portfolio analysis regarding asset allocation, product selection, and strategic implementation
- Responsible for on-going account management regarding portfolio activity including withdrawals, contributions, and rebalancing
- Provides strategic asset allocation recommendations to individual clients based upon risk tolerance, tax status, and desired goals
- Prepares quarterly economic analysis reviews
- Prepares quarterly attribution reports
- Analyzes defined benefit plan liabilities and develops recommendations for the construction of investment strategies
- Models various asset allocation portfolios for review
- Researches and responds to client questions
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least three years of professional, DB investment management experience
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of industry and professional concepts, principles, practices, and procedures
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations and professional standards
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and enterprise communication and travel solutions (Concur, Skype)
- Experience performing work that requires initiative and leadership skills
- Pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations
- Ability to anticipate and elicit customer needs
- Ability to self-learn and develop business and technical knowledge quickly
- Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Ability to travel as necessary
