Requirements:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Management Engineering and 2 years of experience planning, designing, and improving industrial production processes for refrigeration products.
- Must have experience in:
- Utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and line balancing methodologies to devise projects that increase capacity of production lines to support business growth.
- Leading lean manufacturing, cost and waste reduction projects, utilizing 5 S's discipline, Poka Yokes design, KAIZEN, KANBAN, TPM, DFP, PDCA, DMAIC, SMED, SCRAP and other initiatives, to continuously improve productivity, optimize production output, and reduce operational costs.
- Drafting Workstation designs that illustrate efficient fabrication and assembly of refrigeration parts/production using AutoCAD.
- Utilizing Visual Factory to simulate the development and deployment of production line installations.
Job Duties:
- Plan, design, and improve industrial production processes for refrigeration products.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for refrigeration products to identify opportunities for improvement of existing methods, sustained product, and operational cost reductions to manufacturing facility.
- Utilize Minitab to conduct analysis of data and product specifications to identify reliability, standardization, and quality improvement opportunities for finished products.
- Support strategic planning initiatives, business plan deployment, strategic goal & objective creation to ensure high impact opportunities for lean process are identified.
- Develop and play a hands-on execution role in the Electrolux Manufacturing Systems ("EMS") plan, linked to the business plan and strategic priorities with robust sustainable lean processes.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma and line balancing methodologies to devise projects that increase capacity of production lines to support business growth and assist in new process designs and manage and reduce operational costs.
- Lead lean manufacturing, cost and waste reduction projects, utilizing 5 S's discipline, PokaYokes design, KAIZEN, KANBAN, TPM, DFP, PDCA, DMAIC, SMED, SCRAP and other initiatives, to continuously improve productivity, optimize production output, and reduce operational costs.
- Responsible to lead, mentor, train, guide, and support plant level staff in their efforts to deliver on the continuous improvement plan.
- Draft Workstation designs that illustrate efficient fabrication and assembly of refrigeration parts/production using AutoCAD.
- Utilize Visual Factory to simulate the development and deployment of production line installations.
- Process audits to verify the sustainability of EMS tools.
- Create flow charts of various processes in VISIO.
- Collaborate with Management Team regarding process/production improvement opportunities within their departments.
- Work directly with manufacturing, industrial engineers, supervisors, and team leaders in a team environment for troubleshooting, input, and support of new processes.
- Lead change agents in the development and delivery of educational programs, training courses and certification classes to maintain best practices that align with the overall mission and vision of the organization.
- Complete production reports, purchase orders, and material, tool, and equipment lists.
- Use of AS400 for the requisition of materials from various national and international suppliers.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to design and produce videos that showcase plant processes achieved through Best Practices Projects.
