Job Description Position: Strategic Initiative Leader - Suplhur Products Primary Location: Home based United States (ability to travel 50%, US and Canada) Reports to: VP of of Manufacturing, Acid, SPPC Compensation: $180,000- 190,000+ Bonus + Benefits (salaried, exempt) Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary range for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. About this Role and About You We are seeking a dynamic change management leader who will be a valuable member in contributing to Chemtrade' s future. The Strategic Initiative Leader plays a key role in the leadership and direction in Chemtrade' s Sulphur Products and Performance Chemicals (SPPC) operations. This person is responsible for leading and driving Mechanical Reliability, Operational Excellence, and Technology Programs within the business. Focus will be given to mechanical integrity, electrical reliability, SAP CMMS, FMEAs, turnarounds, root cause analysis, availability & OEE. This person will work with Plant Managers to drive program ownership to the site and communicate and leverage learnings from other plants. In addition, he/she will help to seek out new technologies and how they can be applied to improve site reliability while also standardizing technology and work practices across all sites. He/She will also work with plant managers, regional managers, greenbelts, MBB, and other engineering resources within the company to identify and capitalize on productivity projects within the SPPC sites. This opportunity offers future development and progression towards an Operational Director role. Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
