Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity in Peoria Illinois, for a Fiber Technician. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of network equipment and services.
Experience installing and troubleshooting Cisco SONET Nodes, Cisco and Alcatel Lucent Routers, ADTRAN 2800/2820 Multiplexers, Switches and NID's, Performance Technologies STP's, MetaSwitch switching platform, and ADVA DWDM systems.
This role also provides emergency support for network outages 24x7.

Key Requirements:

  • DS3/DS1 installation and maintenance
  • SONET/DWDM installation and maintenance
  • IP/MPLS fundamentals
  • Test equipment proficiency (OTDR, OSA, DS1/3, and Ethernet)



Must be willing to work day, evening, night shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays as required.
Valid state driver's license with clean driving record

Estimated Min Rate: $21.70
Estimated Max Rate: $31.00
