Role Description

As an Associate of Financial Operations at Form Energy you will play a critical role in supporting financial operations and administering critical grant programs. This includes construction and scaling of Form's factory in Weirton, WV and expanding to support any future grants or future business operations. This role reports into our Senior Manager of Financial Operations, and as part of our Financial Operations team, you will contribute to the success of Form's current and future operations by working closely with internal and external partners to ensure compliance within established guidelines and controls. You will be responsible for implementing process changes, training stakeholders, and driving timely collection of incentive funding. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Weriton, WV facility. Relocation assistance is available.

What you'll do:
  • Work with internal accounts payable team, vendors, legal, and project managers to ensure our internal process supports compliance with established grant guidelines and standards.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including contractors and public agencies to enable successful project completion.

  • Proactively drive to adherence of contract timelines and standards and monitor agreements with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors for compliance with established standards.

  • Ensure all project costs and invoices comply with contract terms and specific incentive requirements, and submit all invoices and required reports timely for reimbursement.

  • Compile and organize project updates, financials, and schedules.

  • Report cash flow impact of grant and incentive reimbursements to senior leadership.

What you'll bring:
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations finance, audit, or accounting. Experience with public grants is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, audit, and compliance (e.g.: skillset)

  • CPA or MBA preferred.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Microsoft Excel skills required, Oracle ERP experience preferred.

  • Construction experience is preferred.
