Warehouse Supervisor

Almac Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Audubon, PA location. The Operations Training specialist will supervise the movement of product throughout the warehouse departments for use in production operations. ensure that internal client needs are met. ensure the production schedule is adhered to and distribution needs are met. prioritize the tasks of the warehouse staff to ensure production requirements are met. oversee general warehouse functions. write standard operating procedures. assist in the research of information required for quality investigations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervising the Warehouse Staff


  • Ensuring Pick lists are completed in a reasonable time according to the production schedule
  • Ensuring Production returns are completed in a reasonable time.
  • Ensure material transfers are completed correctly.
  • Maintenance of the miscellaneous Almac Pharma Services inventoried items
  • Maintenance and disposal of Almac Pharma Services utilized pallets
  • Assist in the investigation of inventory discrepancies and provide input for process improvement
  • Present recommendations for improvements to policies and procedures for storage, material handling and special warehousing
  • Key Stakeholder for all Powered Industrial Vehicles
  • Write and update departmental SOP's as review periods arise
  • Ensure subordinates are trained and understand all SOP's relevant to their job functions.
  • Maintain 5S compliance in the department.



DEA - Work with Production Manager/Site Director


  • ARCOS reporting
  • Year End inventories and reporting
  • Maintain DEA vault in a compliant manner.
  • Assist in DEA applications (import/exports, quotas, etc.)
  • Assist the Production Manager/Site Director with DEA Audits
  • Gather information required for Technical Queries (TQ's) and Quality Incident Reports (QI's)
  • Evaluate subordinates on an annual basis.



Validation


  • Act as Operation Support Representative in the Almac Pharma Services Validation Control Group as required.
  • Identify systems, equipment and processes requiring validation. Submit the relevant request forms, detailing reasons for validation and the implications of not carrying it out.



Communication


  • Provide regular updates to the Production Manager and Director of Logistics where necessary regarding the overall status of the Warehouse
  • Organize and maintain service levels with other departments to ensure product flow through the Warehouse is reasonable and timely



Required Experience / Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Required Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years work experience.
1-year Supervisory experience
Preferred Education:

Undergraduate degree

Preferred experience:

Working in a CGMP environment.
Preferred Knowledge:

Working in a CGMP environment.
