Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated, collaborative, and can work effectively within cross-functional teams. This position involves working closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to plan, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies. You will bring strong expertise in automation development and execution, proactively contributing to the success of our products by ensuring quality and efficiency. This role also requires excellent communication skills to facilitate understanding and alignment across teams and with business stakeholders. A Day in the life:
Develops and maintains robust automated testing frameworks and scripts, driving quality and efficiency across a range of applications. Proactively identifies and addresses issues in requirements, such as lack of clarity, inconsistencies, or technical constraints, and communicates these effectively to relevant stakeholders. Performs code reviews with an eye for making thoughtful trade-offs, identifying impactful solutions, and ensuring alignment with the broader codebase and project goals.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
3+ years of experience in test automation engineering, strong preference on Cypress. Well-versed in industry best practices for test automation, including design patterns, framework structuring, and efficient test execution. Basic knowledge of microservices and inter-application dependencies. Proficient in industry-standard testing practices, including effective test design, framework structuring, and test data management, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Skilled in one or more programming languages. Basic familiarity with CI/CD.
