Overview

RTI International seeks a prospect for the Business Development Internship within the International Development Group business unit.

Research Triangle Institute (RTI) has over 60 years' experience assisting governments, communities, and the private sector. As a not-for-profit, independent research institute based in North Carolina, RTI has more than 6,000 employees with experience implementing programs across the US and globally. The Sustainable Growth & Resilience (SG&R) technical unit, housed within RTI's International Development Group, brings together technical and project management experts to implement USAID and donor-funded programs. Our experts support a wide range of sectors, including food security, agriculture, energy, environment and natural resource management, water, governance, and economic growth. RTI's SG&R unit supports the design and delivery of multisectoral programs which build resilience and promote economic prosperity globally.

The SG&R Business Development Intern will conduct desk research, support knowledge management tasks, and may perform other administrative tasks, as required. This is a paid internship. This position will report to the Senior Business Development Specialist and can be in person (Washington, DC, or Research Triangle Park), or fully remote.
