Fitness & Wellness Intern

Minitab is looking for a Fitness Intern to work beginning in the summer 2025. We want students who are interested in engaging in and learning about worksite wellness and how employee wellbeing impacts corporate objectives in a fast-growing solutions analytics software company. You will find yourself immersed in a collaborative team of global top-notch professionals who want to see you succeed. This is an on-site position at our State College, Headquarters.

Candidates Should expect the following:

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform various health promotion functions in support of the Fitness & Wellness Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Shadow Global Fitness & Wellness Manager to learn about various job duties and the scope of a global wellness program.
  • Assist with research on various well-being initiatives.
  • Assist with marketing and expanding awareness of our various programs.
  • Assist in the gym under the direction of Fitness Wellness Manager,
  • Attend webinars and other training programs and give reviews and recommendations to Manager.
  • Assist with preparing, marketing, and presenting worksite wellness programs.


EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE



  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Completion of college-level, introductory exercise science and/or health science courses.
  • Basic knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Powerpoint



QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



  • Reliable and responsible.
  • Highly organized, motivated and detail oriented.
  • Solid communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language.



This is an onsite position at our State College, PA HQ and remote work is not an option.
