Job Summary

The Renewal Support Specialist I focuses on using business and technical skills to close all assigned renewal opportunities. They focus on existing contracts and work with sales to provide details on customers' renewal options. The Renewal Support Specialist 1 works with sales and partner representatives quote to renewal requests.

What you will do:

  • 70% of time is spent quoting transactional renewals.
  • Respond to email and inquiries from sales regarding their expiring renewals.
  • 30% of time is spent consulting with sales to quote renewal opportunities.
  • Develop business relationships with sales.
  • Work with other Product Specialists and partner contacts to better serve sales.
  • Respond to renewal inquiries from sales.
  • Attend Partner specific and Renewal Support Specialist related training.
  • Work hand in hand with the sales and partner contacts to help drive prepare quotes.
  • Be responsive to sales.
  • Attend external training and conferences (Manager's approval).

What we expect of you:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Associate Degree or equivalant work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional relationship with all departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
  • Applicant should demonstrate solid attention to detail and a penchant for accuracy.
  • Time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects are required.
  • Ability to prioritize work and work accurately under pressure of deadlines with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% or as needed to other CDW locations.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize, apply common sense in performing job, and understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Experience in technology sales supporta plus.
  • Highly innovative and proactivea plus.
