Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our team in Oakdale. This position can be located in any of our metro offices based on candidate preference. What You Will Be Doing:

As a Construction Manager you will provide oversight for large and multiple smaller projects concurrently on construction activities to assure their compliance with the project plans and specifications, manage contracts and construction aspects of project delivery including - assisting in preparing the proper project documentation, assist with proposals, cost estimating, and client outreach, as well as reviewing and approving work orders, change orders, and contractor payments. In this role you will also oversee, direct, and coordinates workload and staffing needs for a team of field staff including construction technicians, surveyors, interns, and seasonal staff.

What We Are Looking For:

Candidates must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply technical knowledge to a variety of projects. In addition, must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies. This position requires a valid Drivers License and your own means of reliable transportation with the ability to travel to on-site inspections. You must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds while walking through rough terrain and have good verbal communication skills. Design experience or training with AutoDesk software for GIS experience is a plus, but not required.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Exceptional interpersonal written & verbal communication skills
  • Exemplary time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and their own transportation


Salary Range: $60,000 - $125,000 depending on years of experience and credentials

Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location. Bolton & Menk reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
