Job Skills / Requirements We are looking for a part-time gate attendant for a position at the Cedar Falls, Iowa Menards store.
Starting pay is $18.50 an hour weekdays and $19.50 an hour weekends. Days may vary with 2-4 Shifts a week of 2pm to 9:30pm. Perfect opportunity for college students or retiree's! **This position requires travel to Cedar Rapids for interview/onboarding** **This position requires passing a criminal background screening and drug screening** Responsibilities:
Loss Prevention | Checking orders and counting purchased product Computers | Hand held computers used, must have good understanding of computers Product Knowledge | Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is helpful. Walking | Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required. Communication | A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well Must follow policies set by the client at all times and enforce rules set by the client. This position is outside and must be able to handle the elements like heat, cold, rain, snow. We do provide A/C in the guard shack!
