Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

CLOSE DATE: 01/22/2025

$16.37 to $18.01 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne/Brevard County Parks Operations Office. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs experienced office and clerical work involving the performance of various clerical and/or secretarial assignments which require the application of some independent judgment and the interpretation of policies and procedures for the Parks and Recreation department. Routine decisions are made in accordance with established office policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of experience in clerical or secretarial work. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.Experience with word processing software is preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
