Overview SRI's Robotics Laboratory in Menlo Park, CA conducts exciting R&D to solve a wide array of robotics and automation problems, from development of component technologies-such as polymer artificial muscle actuators, wall-climbing "electroadhesion," or high-efficiency robot transmissions-all the way to engineering complete systems-such as our semi-autonomous, teleoperated bi-manual robot; our autonomous humanoid motorcycle-racing robot; or our underwater kite, renewable energy-harvesting system. We are looking for one or more Research Engineering Interns to work alongside junior and senior engineers for developing a levitated lunar highway for in-situ resource utilization. There are multiple project opportunities to apply engineering skills and to learn new techniques on the job. The Intern will work on-site in our Menlo Park, CA office. Responsibilities

The salary range is: $20-$45/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
