Workday HRIS Specialist
The Workday/HRIS Specialist provides support in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, monitoring system performance, answering end user questions, and partnering with functional and regional teams to deliver enhancements to Workday. Recommends and executes key system improvements through configuration, customization, and fit-gap analysis, vendor partnership and issue escalation. Creates functional/technical specifications, as well as test cases and scripts. The role requires knowledge of various Workday modules (HCM data and organizational structures, Compensation, Recruiting & Extend), advanced report creation, integration support, business process design and configuration and data management.
To drive innovation, take ownership, and champion cutting-edge solutions in this critical, client-facing role, this role will spearhead the configuration and optimization of Workday business processes, while also collaborating on a wide array of high-impact projects across multiple Workday modules. The HRIS team manages all Workday HCM modules, and the selected candidate will build expertise in areas such as benefits, compensation, talent, time tracking, and staffing. Job Responsibilities
* Lead the configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes, ensuring system performance aligns with strategic business goals.
* Provide subject matter expertise around optimizing and streamlining the HRIS eco-system.
* Participate in HRIS projects from start to finish while understanding business needs, system requirements and manage the projects to achieve target scope and delivery deadline.
* Partner closely with cross-functional teams to gain deep understanding of process and pain points.
* Lead and/or participate in change management efforts for business-critical Workday processes and to make Workday the primary system of record for all employee data.
* Perform analysis of existing business processes, technical design, identify and evaluate re-configuration/ solutions in response to business issues and challenges.
* Execute daily maintenance activities including but not limited to role assignments, security audits, organization set, etc.
* Create, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
* Offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity across various systems.
* Provide hands-on training to HR operations team members, empowering them with the skills to utilize Workday efficiently.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Preferably 3-5 years of HRIS administration experience in Workday with a deep understanding of onboarding, coding, and reporting functionalities.
* Previously completed Workday HCM Courses.
Preferred Qualifications
* Hands-on experience implementing at least one of the following HCM modules: Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, Onboarding, and Absence Management in Workday.
* Familiarity with Workday Integrations including EIB, Studio or Extend is a plus.
* Experience with managing Benefits Integrations is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
* Workday Certifications are a plus.
