    Associate's Degree in related field


  • Experience
    3 years


Preferred



  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree and experience working in healthcare facility (clinical laboratory) preferred

    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree.


JOB DUTIES



  • Works in collaboration with management, support services and clinical departments to meet designated dashboard standards and reports weekly to the leadership team and graph package participants. Performs complex data analysis, develops methodologies for analyzing and presenting data.
  • Plans, coordinates, and conducts audits in the areas assigned, analyzes collected data, reports trends and outcomes and proposes solutions from audit findings. Provides input to identify quality and process improvement opportunities.
  • Provides department support through data analysis, work queue resolution and special projects assigned by department leadership. Assists with claim edits, documentation review and performs necessary action to correct errors. Initiates/updates training material and conducts training when/where applicable.
  • Communicates results effectively to customers. Communicates regularly and effectively with team members and leadership. Points out system or process problems when noticed; engages the team in problem solving. Provides a high level of customer service while meeting project and presentation deadlines.
  • Provides working supervision to groups of administrative and/or technical positions. Coordinates staff education programs and training seminars as necessary.
  • Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: a) Directly interacting with or caring for patients; b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; c) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or d) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
