We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to real-world projects that make a difference. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop essential skills, and collaborate with a passionate team of professionals.

This internship position is located in Carlsbad, on-site.

The Opportunity

• Work with complex datasets to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights.

• Create insightful dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Spotfire, or similar tools.

• Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from relational databases.

• Support advanced analytics projects, including predictive modeling and statistical analysis.

Program Highlights

• Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

• Program start dates are in June (Summer)

• A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

• Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Who You Are:

Required Education:

You meet one of the following criteria:

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).

- Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors:

Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Data Visualization

Required Skills:

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one programming language (Python or R).

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

• Solid understanding of data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $25-$40 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
