Neel Pasricha, MD is hiring postdoctoral fellows, research specialists, and staff research associates to join his lab at UCSF. The research is focused on the discovery and advancement of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for brain and related tumors, and the prevention of ADC-induced adverse events, including corneal toxicity. Approaches include quantitative immunofluorescence, cell culture including cell line development, in vitro functional assays, pharmacokinetics, and in vivo testing in rodent models. Researchers will present data at scientific meetings, prepare manuscripts, and apply for research funding. Technical methods will include cell culture, fluorescence plate reader assays, molecular biology (PCR, ELISA, Western blot, transfections), immunocytochemistry, and working with rodents. For postdoctoral fellows: Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree. Background in molecular and cell biology is required, with experience in cell culture and animal models. Candidates should have good written/oral communications skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, be highly organized, and have a documented record of research accomplishments. For research specialists and staff research associates: Applicants must possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) in molecular and cell biology (or equivalent field) and/or at least 4 years of research experience, preferably in cell culture and animal models. Applicants should send a brief description of their research interests and a curriculum vitae that includes contact information for three references to: Neel.Pasricha@ucsf.edu |
