Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Data Warehouse Management in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for partnering with the Harmony Biosciences strategic partners (both internal and external) to ensure optimal system management of data consumption, integration, and delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day data system operations for existing and new data assets, with a critical focus on quality assurance as well as automation. In this role, you will need to be a forward-looking specialist who can advocate system framework improvements and process refinements that directly enable commercial functions to maximize their data intelligence that will drive strategic decision making. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review current state of Redshift structure, data dictionaries, data flow, interdependencies, and outline potential areas of concern or update and create additional documentation
- Liaison with data aggregator for proper data onboarding, and transformation into the data warehouse/cloud environments
- Incorporates and maintains robust data validation, cleansing, and management methodologies to ensure data quality and data warehouse integrity
- Monitors daily data processing for accuracy, taking remedial action when an issue arises and reporting ramifications downstream
- Creates and maintains documentation of new data integrations, technical specs, business requirements and testing
- Works cross-functionally with the CRM & Business Intelligence teams to assist with system integrations and support quarterly process improvements
- Continuously monitor, refine, and report on the performance and capacity of the data warehouse
- Ensures and monitors database security
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MS or other advanced degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial information management, data warehousing and systematizing data operations required with experience in:
- AWS Cloud services
- Business Intelligence solutions and application development (QlikSense, Tableau, etc.)
- SQL and other data languages
- ETL tools and processes
- Experienced with all types of data sources i.e., specialty pharmacy, HUB, managed care, payer/plans, other 3rd party data sources, etc. required
- Excellent project management skills along with knowledge/experience in CRM systems (Veeva), field selling, market access and marketing functions required
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Physical demands and work environment:
- Domestic travel is estimated to be 20% of the time for this position.
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.
- Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.
- Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
