As a Program Coordinator I for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI) and the Center for the Advancement of Women in Science & Medicine (AWSM) you will support institutional diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for the Medical College of Wisconsin. This role will support the administrative needs for the ODI and AWSM, assist with the implementation of institutional signature programs and core events, and support the needs of MCW's Employee Resource Groups and Council for Women's Advocacy. The Program Coordinator reports to the leadership team within the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and will work under the general direction of the Program Managers of ODI and AWSM. This role will regularly collaborate with ODI leadership, ODI staff members, and partners. Responsibilities/Functions:
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Experience in supporting the administrative needs of an office. Strong time management, prioritization, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience working across all levels of leadership and employee classification. Experience supporting the work of Employee Resource Groups. Experience in the use of technology for program operations. Efficient self-directed work, ability to remain focused, meet deadlines, and possess attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work cooperatively and fairly with people whose backgrounds may differ from one's own. An ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, values-based, and have experience supporting the administrative needs of an office.
Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Minimum Required Experience: 2 years Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree Preferred Experience: 5 years of experience with program coordination and experience supporting the administrative needs of an office.
