TITLE: TN - Maintenance Tech III (1st Shift) POSITION OBJECTIVE: Repairs, adjusts, trouble shoots, and performs preventative maintenance on injection and blow molding machines used to make plastic bedside medical products. QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years of college; five to ten years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience repairing, adjusting, trouble-shooting, and performing preventative maintenance on injection and blow molding machines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook) and MPII system.
- Must have working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems and be able to read schematic.
- Must provide own working tools
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with production supervisor to schedule maintenance operations with minimal productions delays
- Working knowledge of 5S
- Complete understanding of OEM preventative maintenance requirement
- Generates list of materials needed for approved projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of the plastic injection molding process of and press operation
- Observes production closely, effects changes in methods of operation to correct operating problems of equipment
- Investigates causes of failures of operating equipment, leads and/or assists mechanics in repair procedures and corrective measure
- Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required
- Willing to hand job stress and interact with others in the workplace

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud and requires hearing protection.
