Our long-term client relationship with JSC has led to a need for a Production Integration Lead on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration Contract (HSFTIC) at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

The Production Integration Lead will:

    Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive oversight of the production (assembly, integration, and test) and delivery of the Gateway HALO Element, collaborating closely with the prime contractor and suppliers.
  • Actively identify, manage, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks associated with the production (assembly, integration, and test) and delivery of the Gateway HALO Element.
  • Lead and support the programmatic management of contracts, resources, and oversight teams essential for the production (assembly, integration, and test) and delivery of the Gateway HALO Element.
  • Develop and direct innovative concepts, processes, and techniques for the production (assembly, integration, and test) and delivery of the Gateway HALO Element.
  • Challenge the status quo and gain necessary approvals for tailored approaches.
  • Represent the HALO Project Office and serve as a team representative at various boards and meetings in support of the production (assembly, integration, and test) and delivery of the Gateway HALO Element.



Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • A BS degree or higher in Engineering with a minimum of twenty (20) years of professional experience, performing professional work in design, development, test, operations, or systems integration.
  • Excellent communication (in both written and verbal), integration, coordination, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Previous experience with NASA human spaceflight programs.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, especially in human spaceflight.
  • Previous experience with innovation or process improvements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.
  • Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
  • Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
  • This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
