IT UI/UX Designer

HEADD

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full Time, UI/UX Designer, you will be part of a team creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize the structure and functionality of products

o Designing the graphical elements of user interfaces

o Collaborating with IT Business Analysts, Program Owners, & Product Owners, to ensure design aligns with product themes, & meets the needs of end users, both internal & customer-facing products

o Collaborating with other UI/UX Designers and Marketing, to ensure design and content aligns with branding and is consistent across various platforms

o Collaborating with Software developers on design feasibility

o Managing, Organizing, and Versioning content

o Preparing and Presenting designs, iteratively refining based on feedback from IT leaders and business stakeholders

o Confirming designs and content are viable across different media

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The skills and qualifications required for this position include:

o Possess or are working towards a degree in Computer Science, Psychology, Management Information Systems, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field of study

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Experience as a Web or Mobile designer

o Experience with design software including Photoshop and Illustrator

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $58,000 - 65,000.
