We are looking for a Radiology Medical Assistant to join our team of patient-centered professionals who have a culture of caring for each other while providing an excellent patient experience. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Radiology Medical Assistant assists radiologic technologists in conducting patient exams by assisting in the clerical and non-technical and non- exposure technical aspects of the exam. The RMA is responsible for assisting the technologists, Radiology Nurse and radiologists in many functions including:

  • stocking rooms,

  • aiding patients to and from the exam rooms,

  • scheduling exams in the radiology information system (Radiant),

  • arranging and scheduling inpatients to come down for their appointments, and

  • transporting patients to and from the radiology department.

Our Radiology Medical Assistants will be trained to start IV's in some modalities.

EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • LNA or comparable medical experience preferred.

  • This position requires verification of your high school diploma. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited in for an interview.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous hospital or health care experience preferred.
