ABOUT THE POSITION
Our Distribution Centers utilize state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team to provide Columbia Sportswear Company a competitive advantage in distribution. Teams are responsible for shipping millions of units of apparel, footwear, and equipment annually within the family of brands. Accurate order fulfillment and on-time shipments are the hallmarks of our facility.

As a Technology Analyst I, you will have an opportunity to support and maintain the software and hardware integral to the Distribution Center environment. This person is the first point of contact for production support for all on- and off-site Distribution personnel. This role performs configuration, setup, and updates of the applications and hardware in the Distribution Center. May train end users on basic processes.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Acts as Level 1 first contact for production support. Resolves routine issues not requiring escalation.
  • Performs basic software and hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployments with guidance.
  • Configures, tests, and supports a platform or application to deliver business value. Helps team troubleshoot and fixes bugs where applicable.
  • Documents all requests appropriately.
  • Trains end users on basic processes.
  • Monitors and observes health, availability, and performance of software in production to provide appropriate application support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

YOU ARE

  • Resilient and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • A self-driven and self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours as the business needs dictate including swing, night, weekends, and holidays as required.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
  • Possesses a basic familiarity with Warehouse Management software and understanding of AS/400 and interfaces
  • Possess well-developed analytical/troubleshooting skills along with the ability to translate technical concepts in order to create innovative solutions.
  • Working knowledge of common enterprise software ie. Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience writing SQL queries a plus.
  • Basic understanding of material handling equipment interfaces and servers.
  • Ability to access all areas and levels of the distribution center
  • Experience in a distribution environment a plus.
