Summary Global Payments is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Community Engagement and Corporate Events who will be responsible for the worldwide program development of the organization's corporate citizenship initiatives, as well as the ideation, development and execution of corporate team member events that support engagement, community service, rewards and recognition, and more. Reporting to the Director of Team Member Engagement & Culture, this role will work closely with the Internal Communications and Executive teams and will be a member of the broader Corporate Communications & Marketing team. This role works closely with specific points of contact across brands, geographies, and offices providing corporate guidance, templates, creative assets and additional guidelines in order to scale team members events globally, but will serve as the primary execution person in Atlanta, where Global payments is headquartered. To be successful, this individual must be able to operate at a strategic level and be a true team partner and collaborator. Equally, they must be incredibly detail oriented and organized, given the exceptional level of service the team provides to its internal stakeholders. Key requirements include, proven leadership ability and presence, comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, and self-discipline to autonomously produce exceptional results. What Part Will You Play?
- Develop a global strategy that aligns the company's four community pillars with charitable organizations in communities around the globe where team members live and work.
- Oversee all charitable initiatives, including the company's charitable giving budget, that represent Global Payments as a socially responsible organization aligned with the company's values, culture and community pillars, including Company partnerships, corporate giving, employee volunteer programs, and employee giving programs.
- Ensure community initiatives and partnerships help further the company's DEI goals and objectives.
- Plan the company's biannual Worldwide Days of Service, which help create a positive impact on our communities through meaningful volunteer activities. This includes collaborating with points of contacts at all of our offices globally and executing in metro Atlanta.
- Responsible for the worldwide development, beginning to end creation, management and execution of events for team members and key internal stakeholders that support engagement, strategy and rewards and recognition. This includes the company's annual sales incentive trip, sales meeting, strategy meetings, metro Atlanta holiday party and more.
- $80,000 - $90,000
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors. - Based onsite at our Atlanta offices in Buckhead.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Experience or Degree in: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience leading large scale, international events from beginning to end
- Experience working in a large corporate environment
- Writing and content development
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Team management, as this role has direct reports
- Works well under pressure, works autonomously and is able to meet tight deadlines
- Has experience working closely with C-suite executives
- Project management
- Payments and/or financial industry experience
