We are seeking an Office Services Clerk for our Costa Mesa office to provide a range of administrative and office services support. If you excel in a professional environment and enjoy performing a variety of office tasks, then we would appreciate hearing from you. This is an in-office position and the work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In this role, you will:

- Process daily mail; perform mail pickup and delivery at scheduled times. Maintain and supply the postage meter.
- Maintain paper levels in copiers and printers daily.
- Prepare legal records for electronic scanning, such as taping loose sheets, removing staples, and verifying consistent client information. Perform the scanning and quality control/validation process for legal documents.
- Manage, track, and maintain the office and kitchen supplies. Ensure that all such inventories are regularly monitored, well organized and stocked.
- Provide client services/receptionist coverage as needed, including back-up for breaks.
- Set up and break down conference rooms, as needed.
- Assist with outside deliveries, as needed.
- Oversee the maintenance of office facilities to ensure professional appearance, including furniture repairs and general cleanliness of facility.
- Acts as liaison for furniture and equipment maintenance, refurbishing and repairs.
- Set up offices for new attorneys and desks for business professionals.
- Prepare trial/mediation binders.
- May be requested to perform other duties not listed above.

What we're looking for:

- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Prior reception and/or general office experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good judgment in solving problems.
- Ability to ascend/descend a ladder to service the lights and/or access records files and supplies.
- Physical strength and agility to permit full performance of the duties of the position, including bending, walking and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Preferred:

- Prior mailroom experience and knowledge of office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
- Good knowledge of MS Office software applications.

The pay range for this position in California only is $21.25 to $27.00 per hour.
