Museum of Art Job DescriptionJob Description The Smith College Museum of Art (SCMA) Sacerdote Post-Baccalaureate Assistant Museum Educator offers a recent college graduate the opportunity to grow their skills as a museum educator and learn about the museum field and museum education through direct professional experience. Across a two-year term, the Sacerdote Post-Baccalaureate Assistant Museum Educator will work within the Department of Museum Education to support audience learning, engagement, and programming at SCMA. The Assistant Museum Educator will provide direct gallery teaching, administrative, and program support for a broad range of activities and initiatives, including experiences for Smith students, gallery teaching for K-12 and college audiences, audience evaluation and research, and interpretive planning. Application review will begin on Monday, February 10. Expected pay is $22/hour, depending on experience.
