Allina Health has a robust mental health and addiction service line that offers the full continuum of care including integration, specialty outpatient clinics, addiction, co-occurring services, partial hospitalization, day treatment, emergency, and inpatient care.

Cambridge has approximately 9,900 residents and encompasses special features that set it apart from other communities. The Rum River meanders through the 7.9 square miles of Cambridge which is also known as "The Opportunity Community". Cambridge offers biking, hiking, skateparks, recreational fields, playgrounds, parks, and fishing within city limits.

Key Position Details:

As an adult psychiatrist mental health nurse practitioner at Allina Health, you will find a team dedicated to your career journey with vast resources to support your practice including but not limited to:

  • Close alignment with other Allina hospitals and facilities, including a network of five hospital-based clinics with over 80,000 annual visits.
  • Receive referrals and coordinate care with primary care providers.
  • Team members across the system include psychologists, nurses, complex-care coordinators, and social work services.

  • Opportunity to work partially remotely once practice established
  • 60 minute general adult intake sessionsand 20-30 minute general adult follow-up sessions
  • This position is located in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting

Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree - Completion of accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
  • 1 year experience with Mental Health and Addiction is strongly preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire
  • ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
  • Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire

Physical Demands

  • Medium Work*:
  • Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $139,500 to $167,000 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
