Purpose of the Role
The Punchlist Coordinator is a critical member of the Start-up and Commissioning (SC) team, responsible for managing the punch list process to ensure project completion meets safety, quality, and operational standards. This role supports Worley's mission of delivering sustainable solutions by overseeing multi-discipline technical activities in high-complexity, simultaneous operations environments. By ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering, operations, and construction teams, the Punchlist Coordinator contributes to achieving Worley's ambition of driving sustainable transformation across industries.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, implement, and manage the Punch List Management Plan and Walkdown Plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update the Punch List Item (PLI) Register, ensuring comprehensive review and accuracy of records during fabrication, integration, and commissioning phases.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for a multi-disciplinary team of craft personnel, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and HSE teams to integrate technical expertise and safety practices into SC activities.
  • Draft, review, and contribute to project Start-up and Commissioning strategy documents.
  • Work closely with the SC Database (SCDB) Custodian to ensure database integrity, punch list documentation accuracy, and timely reporting of progress and status.
  • Interpret vendor documentation, project drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to guide commissioning activities.
  • Identify and resolve work problems, facilitating completion of assignments and supporting operational efficiency.
  • Support project safety goals by developing Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and following Permit to Work procedures.
  • Establish effective communication channels with direct supervision, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Coordinate daily activities, troubleshoot operational challenges, and maintain comprehensive records for future reference and reporting.

Technical Expertise:



  • In-depth knowledge of commissioning and start-up processes for process and utility systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), piping isometrics, and production flow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with drilling and topsides facilities, including power generation, control, and safety systems.
  • Experience with rotating equipment, gas compression, oil and gas separation, and pipeline systems.


Project Management:



  • Strong skills in cost, time, and scope management within commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Proven ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and make effective decisions under pressure.


Safety Leadership:



  • Comprehensive understanding of occupational hazards, standard safety procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing safety analyses and procedures for multi-disciplinary teams.


Communication and Collaboration:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships in dynamic environments.


Experience:



  • Minimum of ten years of experience in Oil & Gas completion and commissioning activities, with a preference for onshore/offshore expertise.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a commissioning role within a major discipline field.


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting.
