Position Summary University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment. The Administrative Manager oversees the daily office operations of the SVP Suite. Provide support through management operations pertaining to confidential scheduling, gift administration, and administrative services. Directly support the suite through calendar management, event support, donor interaction reporting, financial documentation, travel arrangements, and administrative responsibilities. Oversee the insertion of contact reports, claiming of wires for top prospects, and data maintenance. UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications Required Education: Must include experience with budget administration, office management, planning and implementing activities and events Knowledge of fundraising and relationship management systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, clients, and team members Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to meet deadlines A demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, while remaining adaptable and proactive Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and experience with financial software (travel and expense platforms, etc.) and databases Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $88,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
